DBM 3.1, 400AP

Contributed by Hector on the yahopo dbmlist

The idea of my list is that it has the KnS with the CinC and the rest of the

knights are "downgraded" to IrrrCvO hence no problema of impetuous elements.

Usually the other two subs are dismounted. The Pikes are making a front with the

RegBdo and the Kns and the 5 CvO protect one selected flank. Easy and simple and

it can also defend against flank marches i beat recently a Korean general who

tried to roll my right mounted flank with LHF and CvO. If i could have make it

to Ghent i would have played in Book 4 with this list, which by the way Dinos

did not prefer and last minute he chose Ghurids with the known

results...(although before Ghent he had lost from the Medieval French while

practicing)

1st Command

1 IrrKnS CnC (Once broken)

6 ""

8 IrrAxX

6 IrrBwO

1(0.5)HdO

21.5

breaks 7,5

2ndCommand (the usual victim in my 9-1 victories but i admit that this why it

was made for. The enemies try to break it because of the BwI and forget the rest

of my army!!)

1IrrKnS sub

4 IrrBwO

2 RegBwO

6 IrrBwI

5 IrrCvO

5(2,5) IrrPsO one of them is IrrBwO modified to PsO

2(1) HdO

21,5

breaks 7,5

3rd Command (the "suprise" as i call, it since most players usually prefer

mounted commands with such low demorilization nevertheless it was never broken

and many times gave me the coup de grace)

1IrrKnS sub always dismounted as BdS

5 RegBdo they could also be mounted more killer version

13(6,5) IrrHdO

12,5

breaks 4,5

4th Command (Scotland's bravest only once broken from George Linardos)

1 IrrKno ally Scot dismounted as irrSpS

1 IrrKnI also dismounted as IrrSpS

17 IrrPkI

19

breaks 7

I hope some new players might fancy it and like to use it in the future

Although it is an irregular army it is not easy to become impetuous. Also it

can make enough wills and shifts to repulse a possible flank attack. Usually the

Scots are placed in the center.

If you face a massive Bw army, your Scots should be placed either in a column

with two elements front with the SpS ally in charge or behind another screening

block, say the Blades. Once you come close to the firing elements you can expand

your 2 columns with reasonable pips say 4. Against elephants you can choose to

dismount 4 KnS and keep the CnC with 2 elements of KnS mounted as reserves.
