I only had time for one practice game with them prior to the comp, but have used plenty of LH based armies before.
I faced a MIR for a 10-0
Seleucid for a 6-4
Parthian for a 10-0
and EAP for a 5-5
Both the uncompleted games were bloody affairs which would have produced conclusive results one way or the other in a couple of bounds.
I found the Numidians a fun army to use, with a nice diversity of troops. Bd(I) did well except when machine gunned down by Bw(X). For some reason the Cv(O) spent the whole weekend losing to Ax and LH.
