New Kingdom Egyptian (1450-1150 version)

This list is one with endless very similar possibilities.

It has some strengths, it's very capable in period or in an open competition, it possesses a good mix of troop types and has superb command and control based on Regular Generals and Regular troops.

The following is my version which has been used in a few competitions and numerous friendly games without letting me down.

Commands 1 & 2 are your main combat commands, agains tmounted use the Bw and the Cv, against foot the Cv and the Bd.  Command 3 is there to cover a flank, command 4 to lurk in some dodgy going, act as a distractionary flank march or otherwise act as a pip dump.

The army is reasonably solid and can cope with most opposition. 

Just remember it's not a mallet, it's a sabre, quick cuts at the enemy commands from the Cv with appropriate support and attempts to get round flanks or mass on the opposition will be the way to victory. 

I don't use the navy so try for a river to invade down if you invade and go for the WW on the defense, and good luck.  This was my first DBM Army and I've been using a variant of it since 1.0, it';s still fun to play.
